Where Grime has a low amount of bosses and a large amount of weapons and builds, Fearmonium has 1 melee weapon and a selection of ranged attacks and special attacks. The whole game will unfold in the inner world of a boy who once saw several clowns at a fair. Beginning the game as an unpleasant memory, you must progress and become a true phobia by breaking through all boundaries to uncover the most hidden corners of Max's mind. He doesnt upload to Steam Guides anymore. Fearmonium is a psychedelic metroidvania where suspense intertwines with humour. Many of his maps were put up on Steam for free, despite requiring dozens of hours to make, but then tips sites started stealing them and making money off them by covering them in adverts.

The animation is smooth and the art is cuphead-like. The boss fights (of which there are a good number!) are actually super fun and fair, and there is even a mechanic built into exploration that will make bosses easier! The story is actually very well done and even slightly heart touching at times.

The map is huge and full of good (and useful) rewards, there are tons of abilities useful for both combat and traversal. Steam Link This game is made by the developer of Catmaze, another lesser known MV (that I'm lukewarm on tbh) but regardless, Fearmonium is such a huge improvement over its predecessor, and an amazing MV in its own right.
